Our Collaboration
Bribus has been a household name in the Dutch commercial kitchen market for nearly a century. With 350 professionals and approximately 60,000 kitchens per year, the company serves clients including housing cooperatives, real estate investors, and healthcare institutions. Yet by the end of 2023, the company found itself at a crossroads: as part of the Swedish company Nobia, it lacked the freedom to invest independently and chart its own course. Management had the ambition and the courage to move forward on its own and was looking for a partner that could make that possible. For O2 Capital Partners, Bribus was a familiar type of company: a tangible product, in-house production, and a market with which O2 Capital Partners already had extensive knowledge.

In summary
In early 2024, O2 Capital Partners acquired Bribus from Nobia in collaboration with the management team. The transaction immediately provided for management participation, based on the conviction that the people who know the company best should also be able to help build it as co-owners. Shortly after the partnership began, the decision was made to launch the long-awaited large-scale investment program: expanding the factory in Dinxperlo and increasing production capacity, with O2 Capital Partners arranging the financing. The new facility will be completed in 2026; by 2027, Bribus will be ready to further expand its leading position in the Dutch kitchen market, both in terms of quality and quantity.
